Political Studies Sources on the Web

Students should always start with the Libraries of the Claremont Colleges. Another good place to start for social science information on the web is Encyclopaedia Britannica Internet Guide.

A particularly good Political Studies Web Site is Keele University's Political Science Resources. A good source for governmental sources for all countries is U. Michigan Government Resources on the Web. The CIA World Factbook provides nuts and bolts "intelligence" about every country in the world. Our colleague Dan Ward has created particularly useful launchpads for web-based research and political science research.

The New York Times is available on the web (it requires registration but is free). For on-line newspapers from around the world (and news summaries, radio and tv transcripts and an index of other news websites) start at NeWo's News on the web.

For information on satellite broadcasts available at Pitzer see SCOLA's homepage.
